My car runs fine but when i first start it up, it sounds like a mouse under the bonnet being chased by a tiger. I belive it is something to do with my cam or aux belt, maybe the tensioner bearing or summat, what everyone think??? its not as bad when its warm.

aux belt squeal, a common problem, change the aux belt and check that everything driven by it is perfectly secure (e.g. power steering pump). if that doesnt fix it then consider a new aux belt tensioner.

the tensioner needs a 13mm spanner to lever it, that reduces the tension on the belt so you can remove it, its not technically difficult but its a fiddly job and you can hurt yourself because the tensioner has some power in it.
