Depends on the cause, if it is a creaking noise when turning lock to lock a common fault on many vehicles is the top suspension strut mounting bearing/mounting assembly seizing up, it can result in suspension springs breaking and odd steering feel etc.
If the noise is caused by the power steering it's self this could be much more expensive.
Either way if spending a large amount of money on a Motor Home, personally I would want it fixed first before purchase.
