Wimmy - there are more then 1 bulbs in the third light ;)
And he would have to remove the boot cover ! -
but eventual he will have to. So take the cover off and replace the bulbs.

only one bulb in my dads third light worked and i just disconnected it, it will pass an mot with 2 standard brake lights, im not sure if the third light is working it should all be working if you get what i mean

mine has just been through MOT with same, it only has 4 bulbs working in the 3rd strip and it passed, as long as you have two working brake lights i.e. the side ones, the third high level brake light in the boot lid is just classed as an extra

Cheers guys!

Wimmy unfortunately Fiat only supply it as a whole unit(around £23), i've tried buying the bulbs seperately but i can't seem to get the proper wattage and fitment!!.

I thought the third light would be in the mot, as i remember last time the tester made a point of looking at it. Maybe a case of if your cars got it, it should work.

cheers
