MOT Help Please

OK I had my car MOT'd yesterday, my mum took it for me cos I was in work... (lost my licence for speeding... LOL) Fiat have an offer on £19.95 MOT except on diesels... OK so i thought I would get them to do it...

My mum payed for it, and they did a straight MOT with no adjustment, it passed str8 away... but how much did it cost you ask... £19.95???

NO.... £20.00 OK so I aint going to argue for 5p but then they slapped £15.00 Labour on top WFT!!!! no one said labour charge.. is this normal???

Legally they tester is not allowed to replace parts on your vehicle during an MOT, they are not even allowed to put water in the washer bottle to spray the windscreen! Therefore the whole of the MOT could be technically described as labour! I would ask them for a written list of what the £19.95 was for, including VAT. I would also give your friendly local trading standards a call, they are really decent (and funny if you ask me) people who just love their job and things like this get them exited.

However, the standard cost of an MOT is about £36. Also, experience talks here, NEVER take the same make of car to a dealer for that make of car for an MOT, you are asking to get ripped off!

What did you loose your license for. I am in court soon, Hampshire Police v Speeding Yellow Lunatic Who Undertook Us in Roadworks!

Got dun on 2 speed cams (6 points) in the first 2 years of driving... DOH.. gotta resit the lot. £15.50 for theory £36 for for provisional and £94 for test

i had to resit the ****in tests 2, theory n practical, i got done twice on 2 speed cams 2 mins of each other for being 5 miles over the limit each time!!!! assholes, i passed my practical last week, only got 4 minors, i done better than the 1st time around!!!!
