Hi I hope I will find help here my car failed emission today.
What I can do with it?

You could try changing the engine oil and filter and putting a bottle of cataclean in the fuel tank then take it for a red line run 10 minutes before the mot ,that's what I did with my Grande punto and it passed with flying colours, it was a petrol car but I guess same will apply for a diesel engine ? See what others say first.

Its fiat bravo 2009 2.0 diesel multyjet

Glow plugs all good.?

Emissions is relatively broad subjuct.

Tell us from the printout what you scored..and at what temps.

If its worse with heat.. its dirty oil.

So. How old is the oil?

And air flter?

Exhaust in good condition too ;)

Ps. If its 2009 you are in the Bravo section.. :)

Assuming it doesn't have a DPF (and shouldn't) and failed on soot and it's been serviced reasonably recently.

Fill with vpower diesel - It's a GTL fuel so burns cleaner. Then get the engine hot - 15/20 miles of driving at least. Then work the engine through the lower gears, with a wide open throttle up to the red line. Repeat a few times - if it is still smoking, it's borked and needs attention, if not take it for retest (and get it hot before the test).
