General More Money.

Well another year has passed and yet another failed MOT. This time it was,
1 - NS Ball joint failure.
2 - NS Rear brake cylinder
3 - Too much play driver seat.

So what did i do replaced both sets of front wishbones complete with ball joints etc. New rear brake cylinder and the front seat was completely removed and the metal bar across the bottom that forms the frame had snapped. Spot welded at both ends and MOT Pass.

Now, we've only had the car 3 years and i've now pretty much replaced the front suspension with 4 new tyres etc and all the other bits n pieces that everyone moans about how can this be? I only weigh 12 1/2 stone how could the driver's seat have broken so easily?

1 more year and that's it.

i would have replaced both rear cylinders, when one goes the other wont be far behind it

£60-70 quid bill for MOT aint bad mate.

The Only crum of comfort i get from this is that my brother in law has a so called more reliable car(Toyota Rav4 06 plate) from new with roughly the same amount of mileage as mine and he tells me that every time he takes his car to the garage he's always left with a huge bill. So it's not only Mutiplas!!
