Meant in the nicest possible way in the spirit of enquiry & competition..

I have a friend who owns an airfield in Suffolk with 3000ft of tarmac, (remains of a WWII airfield). He is prepared to loan this for an afternoon in March / April for a little speed trial..

All things being equal and enough takers (cost TBA) I'm prepared to arrange a meet. Portable dyno on hand, laser gun for speed and maybe a few cars to compare performance with..I can certainly get an S2000, turbo Barchetta, and probably a few others.

This is a 'private meet' and will be by invitation for legal liability issues. You are responsible for your own insurance and will need to sign a liabilty waiver to me and the airfield in case you crash and burn...

This one is specifically aimed at the 'fast' Bravo boys..come on lads, big talk, now prove it!

Now we are talking!!! Just to let you know I'm on holiday between the 05/03 to 26/03, so April would be better for me. You not going to take your ST220 then??

Really you only need a couple of bravo owners, one remapped, one tuning boxed (tmc ), one of each type of bravo (1.4, 1.9, 2.0).. I can imagine there being lots of bravos there all with the same power haha. Will be a day of deja vu

I might consider bringing the 330d over to see if it can keep up with these chipped Bravo's I'm not the worlds best driver but it should be easy enough to go in a straight line
Depends on the cost nearer the time but it would be good to meet up and have a few beers afterwards!

You need to take the tuning box off from your 330d!!!
btw, if you do come, do you think you can bring some boxes with you for us to try?

No way couldn't drive the 330 standard now Lol! Might be able to get my buddy to come up with his 911 Turbo mapped to 650BHP, he would gladly take a few people for a run in it, it's the fastest car i've ever been in except for a 950bhp EVO6 but it made me feel ill

As for boxes yeah of course if I can make it i'll bring boxes and remapping equipment. Who knows might even get a few takers.

This sounds like fun. I have a standard Bravo 165 and have been considering a tuning box from TMC. Would be interested to run standard and then tuned.

Thats right A long way its not up the road and a nightmare to get to A12 its only about 80-90miles away but takes 2.5hrs minimum. We'll see who can make it/costs and if its a good audience i'll be taking off down that airfield's runway
