Ok Mr Subtle mods is at it again....

Those 20mm lowering springs from ebay have just been purchased

AndySX/Ash: The offer of help to install them still there? I would do it myself but I know I'd screw it up or launch a spring into space

Also, ICE changes ahead! I currently have an Alpine HU with a Fli sub. Downside is the fact I'm running standard speakers. Since I've got into a bit of DnB the standard speakers are just rattling good and proper (well you can't listen to DnB quietly!). Alpine speakers to be ordered shortly.

Kinda getting excited over this lol.

Now before anyone slags off my speaker choice, I'm aware they aren't the best speakers in the world, but I've been relatively content with standard speakers so these to me will make a huge difference (I'm hoping). Ok, I prolly should have gone for components at the front but I really don't wanna faff around with wiring the tweeters.

Here's a question to the floor, will the standard tweeters still work?

They will still work if you aren't getting a separate amp for the front. But then, if you're not they will sound poo anyway just running off the HU.

It sounding poo doesn't bother me. Speakers won't be the standard Nokia ones so should tolerate the abuse a little better.

Its a car in the end of the day so I don't wanna go all out audiophile-like. Hardly the best soundstage to start with!
