Stilo Mods time... how much to lower?

Springs should be relatively easy to do with a friend but I was quoted £90 by my mechanic when I passed it by him. Are you changing shocks too?

I'm no expert, do I need to change shocks also? And if it is easy, is there a guide online I can find? Been looking to no success.

It would be better to change them as they would work better with the lowered springs however you don't have to. It won't do any damage to the standard shocks but the ride would be a lot firmer and more sports car like if they had a set of bilstiens or koni's on. Incidentally there's not much more labour involved in replacing the shocks as the mechanic has to strip the old one down anyway at the front and the rear is a doddle
