Does anyone know of a good so called hands free kit/cradle for a Sony P800 for my stilo?? preferable one that doesnt have wires everywhere and will not look 100% completely out of place on the dashboard.

I'm all for these phone laws. Only this morning some dopey bit*ch almost went into the back of me because she was on her phone. I was watching her get closer and closer and she only looked up and swerved at the last minute.

If she'd hit me I'd have got out and mauled her. She nearly hurt my new Brava. [!]

Im pretty sure that its just a new way of increasing revenue for the government but also agree it is a bad thing to be on the phone while driving, Im guilty of it though, as much as anyone else!

I was read something in FHM about using a phone while driving, it has been scientifically proven that using a phone while driving is 4 times as distracting than not using a phone...drink driving is just 2.5 times. Makes you think doesnt it?

i nearly hit a taxi head on cos i was on the phone one min i was following a big truk then wen i looked up i was about 3meters away from the the frunt end of a ford mondeo i mean if i had of hit that yeah it wud of been one less crap ford mondeo on the road but my loverly uno would not of stood much of a chance! needless to say that my cat like reflexes came into action and i swerved out the way and looked at the taxi drvier and the poor guy had his eyes shut lol

I havnt yet got a blue tooth headset, but from what I have read you still have to have the handset in a actual cradle for the phone to sit in. You cant just have it sat someehere on the dash or anywhere

I can recommend a Bluetooth headset, if your phone can use one. I got the Jabra BT200 for my new SPV E200. As for the cradle, yes you will need one. You can't hold the phone after 1st Dec. Info

still illegal, any kind of communication on a portable device is illegal - that includes txt/wap.

i wonder if your allowed to scratch your ear and talk to the person next to you? You have a hand near your ear and are talking.. the same as with a mobile phone.. they should fine people for that too

A mobile phone is not half as destracting as having a screaming kid in the back tho is it - they can't ban those tho!

@drewstyle if you have a bluetooth headset the phone can be in your pocket/glovebox etc,all you do is enable voice dial/answer and the magic word after this you can dial /answer/divert etc without touching anything check out www.expansys.com for decent prices ,especially on the 'b' grade stock

Oh, sorry, I forgot, catching those types involves WORK for our police force...far better, then, that they spend their time perched on motorway bridges with radar guns or watching traffic jams for drivers on phones. [!]
