Tuning Mk2b 1.2 8v camshaft upgrade?

I found these while browsing! And was thinking of buying them.

Anyone know if its worth doing? I know it would be easier to just buy a sporting/hgt etc. but where`s the fun in that! Just seeing if there is gonna be a difference at all really? plus anything else thats gonna come up if i do decide to do it?

Depends what you call worth while, I certainly would'nt get them from them. Eb spares are the uk importer for c&b, and you'll receive them this century.

T oget the full potential of an uprated cam you need a vernier pulley to set the static cam timing to your engine and need to adapt your exhaust accordingly.

If you really want to go as far as it is possibll with the engine, porting and flowing of the head, multi angle valve cut and high compression are the next steps other than improving air intake = induction, inlet manifold throttle body.
