Washed the Sporting a few days ago when the weather was fab.... Only took off the surface dust - plan on giving it a mega clean if and when the weather gets better! (y)

shame he changed the borbets....

the stuff and phases that this car has been through you wouldnt believe. The guy is a legend.

the borbets were nice in the pic shown- i didnt think they looked as good on the back tho- just my opinion- the pic u shown with the carbon bonnet is nice-

Would it leave a hole in the bootlid?

Is the same / similar removal to taking off the side strips with warm water etc

Nope, won't leave any holes and it's easier than taking the side strips off as the glue is easier to get off and there's less of it.

I took my badges off by pouring warm soapy water over them (NOT boiling hot) and then prying them off with an old credit card. Then I took the excess glue off with Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover and polished the area where the badges were with Autoglym Super Resin Polish for a perfect result. (y)

Update on the car

Rubbing strips now gone and all the glue has been removed too :slayer: Nice and smooth now

Rear three windows have been tinted :D

Now the question is de badge or not to de badge
