Reading online about all the different cams from the FIRE engine range. all tested on a 999cc engine, the Panda 4x4 cam offers ~10hp more than that of the 1108 and the 999cc stock cams.
the 1242 8v offers ~13hp more (i guess this is the 866 cam).
The Fizz trim level of the panda has the 4x4 cam fitted as stock. it's much more noticable over the stock 999cc cam but hard to tell where abouts in the rev range as we have no tacho's.
If i were to upgrade to the 1242 then would i have problems anywhere?
Also, the Panda ecu's cannot be mapped. If i were to pick up a decoded 1108/1242 ECU, could it be mapped to meet the needs of the 999cc? Would be interesting to see what differences can be made over stock. I reckon a fair bit.
