Technical MK2 Headlights and Grille on a MK1

Hey there,

Will the MK2 Headlamps and Grille fit straight on a MK1 Tipo?

I am considering a Face Lift

I don't think they will fit straight on, the wings are different on the Mk1/Mk2.

Think this is a door which has yet to be opened, get all the bits from ebay/scrappys and if they don't work then throw them on ebay.

yes they do fit you must get the lights grill + indicators. my friend ghas recently done this face lift to his mk1 tipo he now has to get it sprayed from blue to silver lol

I thought the wings were different due to the slight shape difference between the end of the Mk1 and Mk2 indicators?

well it seems to sit ok on my mates tipo mk1 i'll take pictures and post them up. if your worried bout the indicators why not get the headliught protectors that way you wont see any discrepencies lol

Yes, they fit 100%!

For reconstruction you need the both healights, indicators, the grille and the small cover under/on the headlights.

Here my MK1 Tipo with MK2 headlights. (with removed FIAT-emblems)

IF I can find a set I might interchange every couple of weeks... as for now it seems impossible.

my mate just got another tipo and is breaking tyhe 1 with the mk2 lights etc some of the clips are dodgy but as i said it does fit on a mk1 and he could sell. open to offers!!
