General MK2 Barchetta buying advice

Hi i am looking to buy a mk 2 barchetta.Had a mk1 le for 2 years . On the spec on a mk2 it says it has the rear sub and remote locking by fob as standerd is this the case on a uk car? Many thanks peter.

I have a mk II which has remote locking (and alarm) but no sub-woofer. According to the brochure subwoofer was an option.

Thanks Patches for the reply good news about the remote locking not too worried about the sub. Had 1 in my last barchetta and it was rubbish.

remote locking is a doddle if it's central locking anyway, just need a new relay for about £45

Fitting OEM central locking in a barchetta is easy. You only need the power door lock units and door looms. I did it on mine and it all works perfectly.

After that fit the remote relay and you have remote central locking as well.

stick to your mk1 much better than the pimple on the bum, subs are easy to fit in mk1 been there done that

I disagree - in the case of the B and also the final facelift 2004 of the Alfa GTV - original was prettiest

I'd say Mk1 Barchetta but Series 3 GTV
