General Mk1 punto radio

I have the original mk1 punto radio/cassette (old hehe) in my car, but I never recieved any instructions on how to preset the radio. Has anyone got any ideas on how to do it. I have 1999 punto S team if that helps at all as the radio says nothing on it other than it's fiat

well have tried for sure on apunto mk2 but
does it have like numbered buttons below display that you press for each channel you want ??? if so on them sort you normall just tune a channel in like youniormally do and then press andhold the numbered button you want that channel stored to. you may here a beep after a few seconds or a dip in sound.

Yes it does have numbered buttons and i've tried that to no avail, there are already stations preset from the previous owner...no use to me as im not in that area to recieve them lol and the radio is vital to me as I dont own any casettes and cant afford a new CD player/radio right now.

What thefishdude says is right, you need to choose the station you want then hold your finger down on the number you want it on for about 3 seconds
