General mk1 ducato sump plug & washer

done an oil & filter change on the campervan a couple of weeks ago, used a standard crushable washer that seemed to fit fine but is leaking slightly.

i can't seem to find anywhere online selling the standard sump plugs and washers, anyone know anywhere?

just to save me going into fiat 'cos it's quite a treck, thanks!

Can't help with an on-line source but my local factors (and Halfords) both have a rack with a selection of plugs & washers.

Problem is you have to remember to match up when you have the plug off the van (and we always hope that the one-shot washer will do a second round)

The diesel sump plugs are 22mm 1.5pitch there are some on ebay.
Are you sure its torqued up right I've only ever had to change one washer which was literaly worn through never stripped a thread and never had a leak at the sump stud.

sorry i should have said, it's a petrol.

to be honest, i just tightened it fairly tight as i do with all of them

time to get the torque wrench out me thinks, cheers for the reply!

2.0 petrol sump stud is 16mm 1.5 pitch if theres a renault place locally they'd have one I reckon otherwise ebay.

Actually I checked the catalogue and escort, fiesta, mondeo, transit and lots of peugeot and citroens have them too.

Aluminium washer squash easier than copper but you can reuse them much.
