Technical mk 1 turbo handling

biggaitch has 2 standard mk 1 turbos and I am looking for peoples experience to improve the basic feel of the handling..on standard tyres and rims and standard power..any experts out there?

Basic suspension kit.
bushes
rear anti roll bar

Lowered and uprated springs - no more than -35mm lowering.
Good branded gas shocks/ struts.
Replace all suspension bushes.
185/60 or 185/55 x 13 tyres.
Front strut brace (maybe - will unlikely have much effect in normal road use.)

Not much else you can do really!

deck it on some uprated springs and dampers, mines on -60mm apex with adjustable dampers, front and rear strut braces, new bushes all round and some decent tyres
