I have a real problem with the windows in my Marea Weekend misting up. This is more than just your normal misting. The slightest sign of moisture in the air and the whole car mists up. I need to keep the blowers on full just to cope with it and that just clears the windscreen.

Any thoughts?

most obvious answer is a leak into the cabin.lift up the mats and feel for dampness. just found out my cinq leaks with the recent heavy rains :(
if the cabin is dry then look in the boot.
once/if you locate water then get back to us with the location or if you dont find any

might be water in the doors. The water goes into the doors and behind the plastic membrane between doorcard and the door. if the water is not draining correctly then it might be sitting at the bottom and comming into the cabin side.

I know it sounds far fetched but im having the same problem and im almost certain its not the sunroof as ive finnaly fixed it having spent over a year fiddling with it to stop it leaking!! .

Don't mean to sound patronising, but my mum had this problem in her old Peugeot and she didn't realise that the ventilation switch was turned to re-circulate.

Does you car have this function and is it switch to "fresh air in" or recirculate? If its on recirculate (though Im sure you know this), this will cause constant misting up of the windows.

misting is due to moisture entering the cabin. where is not easy to find.check the sunroof holes.check the scuttle[beneath the windscreen] drain holes.check the door bottom drain holes for blockage.wind screens can leak due to poor factory bonding.so check around the footwells and up the back of the facia.check the seat belts for wetness.check the rear for leaks around the weather seal strip and lights.check underneath for missing bungs.a clue is where it mists up first.if its the front windscreen, concentrate here and so on.:)

My Marea is getting moisture in above the driver's door, or at least that is where the trim is starting to dampen and perish
