im thinking of rigging my own intercooler sprayer on the project and wondered if anybody had done this, the plan is to tak 6 washer jets and place them around the intercooler and rig them uo to a switch if the gains are worth the hastle.

The gains would be minimum, due to the fact you need to thermally isolate the pipes and the water reservoir and the spray would be of a small amount, better option would be a bigger intercooler or a fan on it for constant air flow, but it eats power, so you louse some and gain some. If you get me what I mean.

For an intercooler spray bar you need a very fine mist, washer jets wouldn't give mist, more of a squirt.

You'd need a high pressure pump to get a fine mist too.

ive seen some BMW light washers that spray mist and i thought about using the pump from a transit van as they are cheap and very very powerfull.

People I know with them use a 250psi pump.

Intercooler spray bars help eliminate heat soak which occurs with prolonged use (i.e track use).

If I were you I'd fit the intercooler and take some readings etc. If it has good airflow and doesn't restric the rads too much then it should be fine without.

Yeah i think it might have to take to the back burner while other things are done, there is just so much stuff to do lol

I am only a 3rd of the way through the build and it already feels like its dragging lol.
