missfiring while accelerating

my bravo 1.2 missfires now and again while im accelerating.
its just had new sparks, previous owner said its just had an oil change etc the only thing that hasnt been changed is the leads, could this be the problem?
anything elce to think about such as coil pack etc?

We had the same problem with my 1.2 and after changing the leads it went away. The leads were 8 years old!

So try that, we bought our from shop 4 parts from the website and they have been brill if thats any help.

ye sounds like the leads m8, i should have changed them on mine b4 anything rather than spend £100 changing other bits

It's the leads . I had the same problem on mine when I bought it.

This was happening on our Focus, it's the HT leads and plugs you''ll need to get replaced.

i had this on my 1.4 i changed the leads + plugs but with no effect i called out an diagnostics man, and he said it was the coil pack, brought 1 of those (about £75) and that did the job bin perfect ever since.

go with leads first, i had it with Patch before, if that doesnt do it then it will most likely be the coil packs, but go for the cheaper option first mate
