Technical Mileage Counter Ticking Over on Start-Up?

Hi.

I've been noticing this for a while now but keep forgetting to ask whether any other stilo owners have experienced this?

Basically (not every time) but very often, whenever I turn the key and fire up the engine, the mileage counter will click on an extra mile?! Very weird...

I know it's only 1 mile and I'm not worried about my mileage ( ) but it's still a little strange. Just think - it could be adding something like a whole 10 miles or so to my counter each week!?

Anyone else noticed this?

A friend of mine had a pug 307 which added miles when unlocking/locking. Cars were recalled. Going to check mine now.

That's a crazy problem. The miles would soon clock up!

Never noticed my mileage counter when starting the car... will keep an eye on it and let you know

This has got to be a fault. If it under warranty get it changed now, before you get more miles on it, as the same mileage goes on new clocks
