i've worked on both enough to know they're more than just a little similar. if you made a 3pot k series you'd have half a kv6. why do you think its called a kv6, meaning a v6 k series?Chris@souls said:its a completly different engine though!!
KV6 shares nothing with the 4pot K series
Ironic really as wasnt it the old 6 pots that had the system where is didnt cool the engine till it hit temp, then put water in there to keep it at temp. Great idea in theory, warm engine fast but the sudden change in temp cracked just about every component it could!
So in honestly, wat does everyone think of them? I've just bought an 04 MG ZS 180 Facelift model, 8k on the clock, all the works for £6800. So far I'm liking, feels steardy and no rattles and as randomman said the 5th motorway gear is excellent.
Belonged to an old man who bought a new car for himself and the missis and she always drove everywhere so traded it in.

Nice looking example you got there and a damn good price as well.
I really liked it when I went out in one, I would have it over a subaru anyday (as in the real world, money matters!) For every case of someone having a problem there are 100 that have had a trouble free ride, I hope you enjoy it... and the noise it makes and the smile it induces...
(You didnt buy it cos of my review did you? Lol!)
