Im an obsessive Autoglym user and bought my 1st Meg's wax and gave it a try...

pretty easy to work with, one thing i must say, it doesnt work as well with water as the autoglym one does...the car needs to be 100% dry with the meg's where as autoglym could be applied to a wet car.

will see in a week what the result looks like

It isn't a bad wax, used to be a pig to remove. Doesn't last very long though.

It needs to go on in really thin layers, if you can see it when you apply it then it is too thick. Light coats and wait a few minutes for it to dry out then remove and you are on to a winner. 2 coats should last you 8-10 weeks.

2 coats of collinite should last 6 months

Depends on how often you wash it, how many miles you do, where it lives etc but yeah, I would say 4/5 months is the norm. Much better than the Finish Kare.

not tried Finish Kare glad i haven't now

really not impressed with this either 2 months max it lasted http://www.heritage-wax.co.uk/

still keep going back to autobalm too :)

I like Heritage a lot, much better suited to summer though as it looks much better than some much more expensive synthetic waxes. i agree durability isn't great but when you compare it to stuff like nattys blue, petes etc then it is still very durable.

Nothing can really touch colly for durability, the only other stuff I have used is the blackfire kit, but you need to leave the sealant on to go off for at least 24 hours.

I too always use Autoglym products, but have been tempted after reading lots of really good reports of Meguiars stuff. May have to check it out next time :)

BOS :), got some RG55 sample to only used on a bonnet (i dont like the smell tbh), Fk1000 is fine by me, and the primo which i use if i need a wax for other cars (BOS is my personal no other car wax lol) or the primo for "other items"....

I can't see any difference in looks between Royale and Vintage to be honest.

I have found that vintage is more durable than royale but not as good as concours.
