Thanks for reply

I took it to the same garage that came up with the fault codes that i required a temp sensor and had tried other garages before this with the same problem reading the cdu.

Hi everyone

Ive been looking for a thermosat for my marea weekend 2.4 do you have to buy the hole unit. The cooling temperature sensor looks straight forward.

cheers

get them from a dealership, If the thermostat is part of the complete housing (like the other diesels), you won't get them much cheaper anywhere else.

Have a look at the Bosch E-catalogue for the temp sensor, that'll tell you which other cars were fitted with the same sensor & the Bosch & OE part numbers. . You should be able to source that from a good motor factor. Motor factors worth a try for the thermostat too.

Hi everyone

hi there

I went to work after my previous post and the injector light went off when i started the car up.

I went to a specialist to fit the sensor and he cleared the code with diagnostics, also had glow plugs fault code which he said no to worry about them and said they are a pig to change.

no fault lights on the dash on me way home so what now?

cheers
