I have a Grundig MCD-36 changer to fit and I have decided to fit it in the convenient space under the rear seat . . . .
My question is - how can I fix the cradle in place?

won't it just screw down in place thats all mine was in by

furry

If I use screws will I be able to get a nice tight fixing? will the metal 'give' a bit to accommodate a screw that gets a bit bigger the more I screw it in place?

I used velcro pads, stuck it down, never budge one bit. I would recommend this method than drilling and screwing it in.

Thanks

Thanks people - guess I will look in the shed and see if I have any suitable screws or not - otherwise the velcro sounds a good idea. Thanks for the advice people :)

Velcro it was . . .

After dropping my mum off in town (bless) I popped into my local stationers to look at velcro (I need to sort my life out) - spotted some heavy duty stuff with extra strong hooks/eyes and adhesive on the back so thought I would give it a go . . . worked a treat! it's really stuck in there!

Thanks for the tip.
