Introduction

2004 Mazda rx8 231 in blue with the mazdaspeed bodykit and spoiler, drilled and grooved treated discs, fast road pads, HKS panel filter, Custom 2 and a half inch race muffler cat back exhaust.

Would you say there is enough space for a baby seat in the back as my brother quite likes theses and I want him to get one :p

yeah ive had 3 other 6foot people in it without much issue and theres isofix mounting points :) arguement won lol

okay finally edited it all :) videos and such should all work now

These thinks drink fuel I've been told, but the drive and handling more than makes up for that I suppose, I know a guy with the 192 version and its quick once it gets going so this is only going to be quicker.

I think the front end would look nice debadged btw :)

yeah! the petrol is abit much 21mpg lol but the remapped tt was only 26 anyway and the tjet was about 30mpg so i dont particulary care i dont do enough miles to need a car that does 40mpg+ but the oils a myth, this is my second rx8 and they do use some but no where near as much as is suggested.

yeah that was my initial thought to debage it all but theyre pinned in so id need to get it smooth and resprayed just to debadge so i cbb atm :eek:

but yeah the looks, the drive, the noise for me is just amazing i love this car so i happily overlook the petrol consumption :)

future mods im not sure, the tt kinda kicked the modifying bug out of me pretty severely, i lost interest in cars in general for a while but this one brought the love back.

The only thoughts ive had so far are caliper colour, maybe a AEM cai, debadging and some spacers, really little things tbh.

im trying to get those drifty videos up on youtube for all to enjoy (y)

The TT wasnt a bad choice i mean standard theyre rubbish, but when it was fully modified it was crazy fast and crazy handling and comfy, it was a bad car in the end, because of reliability, if it didnt breakdown on me the times it did id still have it tbh

Glad you like this one though, i f***ing love it, every journey even to work is great!

lol the mazdaspeed one comes with the lower part :p

what colour was you thinking? ill try photo them again as theyve been resprayed to have a sparkle kinda finish to them which sounds crap but is really nice, similar man made pearl finish like the bodywork so when the sun hits it it really changes.

I wondered why you had got rid of the TT, but this is alot nicer :) I didn't realise it did, I don't know if I like it or what. haha

I don't know I would say black but everyone has done that really, but some split rims would look ace on it :) or actually some rotas as well.

I'd love to have one as well, only my mileage would stop me as the insurance isn't that bad on them and they are not that expensive to buy. The kuro edition is sexy.

Black chrome/ Shadow chrome on the alloys would look nice.

the wing grill strakes and arms on the spoiler being chromey/silver i thought it kinda tied it all together, but i might look into some dark coloured multi spokes and see what you guys think (y)

going to get the windows tinted aswell actually, with the spoiler its not like i can see much out the rear screen anyway lol

yeah they are such a lovely car, this ones had its gearbox reconditioned completely and new clutch and flywheel so its lovely to use but if you do heavy mileage they just arent an option :( buttt maybe theyre cheap enough for a weekend car for you....?
