Hi everyone, we are running two Fiats, a 62 reg 500 and an R reg punto. The punto, after several years of excellent motoring, has developed a hell of an electrical problem. Even after an extended run the battery, a less than two year old Bosch 55 AHr pack, drops flat in less than twelve hours. Anybody got any ideas to help?

First things first
Do you have an aftermarket
Stereo?
Alarm?
Electrical devices (like tv, subwoofers etc)
Towball wiring?

Also - do you have a multi-meter?

Also may be worth checking the charge rate comming from the alternator. It could be that the regulator is on its way out and not putting enough back into the battery
