Unfortunately I put a small dent in the passenger side front wing of my OH's 500. Colour smooth mint with my newly acquired Indian Tuk Tuk.

I have a very good guy 1/2 a mile from me who I have used before to rectify the problem. However I have got the car back today and unfortunately the colour match is a little on the light side. So I am going to have to get back in touch to see how we can rectify.

As the car is coming up for sale in 6 months time I want to make sure it looks good otherwise a keen eye would reduce the P/X or Private sale price.

I have had minor repair jobs done by the same place on my cars without an issue so maybe these fancy colours cause the industry a problem???

The 500 went back to the bodyshop and was returned 2 days later with a perfect match.

Looking at the colour templates used it appears there were 3 slightly differing shades attributed to the Fiat paint code for Smooth Mint.

So all sorted and of course no extra cost. I had no quibble with the bodyshop owner, he was only too pleased to help and get it put right.
