I have the same master cylinder on the cabriolet. They are not stepped but are split circuit front left, rear right and vice versa (from memory).
If the car hasn't been used in a few years then I would replace the hoses anyway they aren't that expensive. Seal kits aren't available for the master cylinder so if you do strip it (and it is a pain) then be carefull and take pictures as I couldn't find a new one either.
