General Master brake cylinder,

Has anyone replaced a master brake cylinder, easy to do?, have a brake pedal which going down slowly with engine on, have changed with new brake fluid and re bled , but still the same, so now looking down the master cylinder route, thank you

Not done on a Ducato, but last year I replaced master cylinder on Saab 9-3 1.9 TTid. Main problem on that vehicle was access to mounting bolts. I remember using socket extensions to forward of cylinder head, before I coould use ratchet or torque wrench. Reservoir fixing was obviously intended for LHD as had to reach over top of reservoir to E torx headed small fixing bolt. Take care not to get air into ABS, otherwise a bleeding problem.

It would be easier on my x244 2.8jtd.
