Lighting and interiors supplier Marelli, a major parts maker for Stellantis and Nissan, blamed tariffs for accelerating its slide into bankruptcy

Not a good few weeks for fiat


Stellantis, the parent company of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram brands, is laying off 1,100 employees in Warren, Michigan.

And that's not the end: as the company grapples with declining sales, Stellantis "will be implementing indefinite layoffs of represented employees across its footprint," a spokeswoman said in an email. She said the company would not comment on how many more workers would lose their jobs.

That's looking bad for Panda owners as so many parts were made by Magneti Marelli.

Yep that the second Stellantis supplier to go under in the last few weeks, didn't bother posting with the first and now can't find it

If you look for Stellantis in the news it comes back with the factory layoffs in America

Luckily the common parts are also supplied via third party

Prices of spares for the panda 169 have already been climbing over the last couple of years

I have just fitted a LUK clutch slave cylinder (the old one was giving a push back to the pedal just as you lifted your foot off. Problem solved for £35 and some spanner time. Hopefully, they wont follow Marelli.
