General Marea with K&N Panel Filter query?

I never reset mine, but at the time I was so impressed with the noise that I did not really think about performance. It felt a bit more comfortable through the gears and generally 'nicer'.

You may get a bit more a bit quicker if you reset. Just remember to take it easy for the first 300 miles.

Update: Been away for the weekend with K&N panel filter installed, previously with full tank I would get approx 450 ish of normal driving. With K&N over the weekend with normal driving got 500 before the orange light came on and I reckon it would have reached 550 so definitely a better mpg with K&N and as Dave has said car definitely feels nicer to drive.

Just fitted a K&N panel filter to my 2.0l weekend. :D WOW! what more can I say, it's a damn sight quicker than it used to be through the gears and has got rid of a couple of flat spots that i had!
Got to be worth the £30 I paid as you just wash them out and re-oil them rather than repalcing every 12,00 miles!
Just have to wait and see how much better the MPG is.
I managed 29.5 mpg on a motorway run at the weekend.

On my 2.0 saloon, I find Optimax gives better mpg - got 31 from the last tankful without driving like a granddad - 340 miles on 50 litres :)

I've got a BMC panel filter in, they're definitely worth it!
