my throttle cable snapped lastnight onmy marea weekender, so i managed to tiewrap a cable round it and fed it through the window so i could get home.

went to get one this morning no one has one, went to andrew pages who are normally good for sourcing parts if they dont stock them.
told to get in touch with fiat dealer, so i've used a fiat spares place before who are good called mangolesti, phoned them wait for it..................
they dont have one and cant order one is as the dont make the cables anymore!!!!!
so urgently searching round the net to find one asap, if i take the cable off and send it to a place called speedy cables i could have one made up but its not gonna be cheap.
was hoping someone might have some help or ideas they could give me, apart from a box of matches and can of petrol.

This has come up before. Fiat stopped making throttle cables for certain models a while ago.
Best bet is to get a complete cable from a scrap yard and find somewhere that will make an uprated brand new one using the old one as a template.

Use the search function I'm sure someone has mentioned a place that can make them. (y)

scrapyard £5 job done. i believe you can use the cabel from any 20v bravo brava or marea, i'm not sure if 20v coupe is the same but i doubt it.

thanks for all the ideas, sorted it out now, i've got a go-kart i'm doing up and had a throttle cable for that, just fed it through the old outer and put one of those cable tensioners at either end, job done.
