i think it must mean the throttle position sensor. that is usually on the throttle body.
if you say which model you have and what the problem is it makes life a lot easier.

TD100, accelerator (fuel lever) position sensor fitted on top of the injector pump (above the accelerator lever). it could be worn out, but check the wiring first before condemning it. check the supply voltage, earth and sensor output voltage using a multimeter. then check the signal is getting back to ECU..
