Technical Marea speedo sensor!

Hi, I have a 1.9 JTD, 2001 and the speedo doesn't work. The rev counter is fine, but the tripometer works very, very slowly!
I'm led to believe that it's the sensor on the gearbox.
I've been told that the sensor is the same as on 1999> Punto's, Bravo's and Brava's.
Can anyone else confirm this and does anyone have a spare sensor going?

Also, my ABS and brake lights come on after a short drive. the guy I bought the car from said he got it checked, and that the brakes were ok, but I'm not so sure. Any ideas?

Don't know about the Punto, but it is the same as the Bravo/a.

Had to replace myn only cost £27 from Fiat for a new one.

There awkward to get at on top of the diff, but realy easy to change.
