Technical marea problem

i have a marea weekend td 125 2.4 litre.
the power steering belt broke.
all new belts are coming off,the belt seems to ride over the fan belt tensioning wheel.
have i got the right belt?
do i need a new fan belt tensioning wheel?
anybody know where i can get good second hand parts from?

Ive had the same sort of thing happen and it needed a new tensioner you could get one at a scrapyard but you dont really know how good it is. Have a look at www.shop4parts.co.uk yours seems to be the dearest but you get 10% off being a forum member I believe

Hello, right answer to your problem.
Aux-Belt runs several pullies.
Alternator
Power Steering
Air con
Crank pulley

You need to fit new belt but also for the sake of £32 buy a new self adjustable tensioner pulley from fiat. It quietens any further noise on the old pulley and belt. job takes less 1 hour, you need jack and ring spanner to undo nut on tensioner!!

oksee me fix for aux-tensioner!!!
