Does anyone know where I could get a side light connector for Polys, and also how hard is it to connect it all up as I have no electrical expertise whatsoever.

very simple - there is a guide in the modding section - just click the modding tab at the top of the page.
as for the side light fixings, you need to go to the local scrappy or fiat dealer and buy some.
