Marea light problem?

I have wired up my marea light, the drivers side seems to be broken, he main beem kept turning off if it was knocked so i figured loose connection, so i cut the wire and replaced it with the one from my normal headlight but now the main beem doesnt work at all!

HELP!

Check the connections on the bulb,make sure they are tightly connected. Also check the plug going to the light.

Also, check the bulb, they tend to loose contact even if new.
