I have finally got round to getting a set of marea handles but am thinking of grinding the line off them before i paint them as i am not sure i like it. what have other people done?

also do halfords still do spray cans? i think that's where i got some for my old car...
probably going to get it done at a body shop as i''m doing the mirrors at the same time but nice to know your options!

I ground my handles down to get that ridge off. Just use a rough file to start with, then wet & dry.
If I were you I'd get the bodyshop to do the painting, if you're getting stuff done there anyway. If you do go the DIY route, make sure you get the paint mixed for you (At the larger Halfords) cos the spray pattern is better. It's impossible to get a good finish with the off-the-shelf cans, so avoid them even if your colour is there.

I think i will grind the ridges off tomorrow i think! I also think i will get them done properly, might prime them myself so i can check the finish is ok then get them sprayed.
