Okay, so I've fitted my marea handles and everything's hunky and indeed dorey. Or at least it is for a day, then the passenger side decides to activate the central locking everytime you get the handle halfway out to open the door. Hmmm, I think to myself, I wonder if it has something to do with the rod that the guide tells you to eave loose in the door as I seem to recall the passenger side one being a little tight. However, a week and a bit later the drivers side has decided to start doing it now as well.
Can anybody tell me what it is that is causing this and how to stop it keep doing it, it's a bit of a pain in the ass when it's doing it on both doors and I'm trying to get in !

Cheers

there are 2 rods, one activates the lock, the other opens the door, my guess would be that they are catching on each other somehow. Did you put the handles in with or without the locks?

they are the marea rear handles so are in without the locks. the 'how to' guide said to just leave the rods which should be attached to the locks just loose inside the door.

Anybody ?
This is becoming really annoying now especially as the drivers door is doing it aometimes and not others.

take the door card off the door it happens to most then sit inside the car. Press the button on your key and look into the door to see what happens, you may have 1 of the connecting bars the wrong way round and is catching on something like the window guide. Hope this helps mate
