hi
any ideas how to remedy a faulty gear change?
the car (2.4td 125 marea) changes gears no problem (because im used to it) and the clutch is great but when you change either up or down to 3rd gear in a hurry its buggered off somewere also the gear lever doesnt spring back to a set position when out of gear.
As i said its not a problem when im tootling about but is a bit embarassing at the lights when i cant find third and fiestas go shooting past
ive an idea it might be the linckage and was wondering if anyone had changed this and if it was a big job.
