Technical Marea Alarm Fault HELP !!!

I went to start my marea today when the alarm kicked off, the only way I could stop it was to turn the alarm off with the emergency key from the inside fusebox
This now means the alarm system is now excluded,is there a quick or cheap fix for a MAREA WEEKEND 125 TD?

Hello Insider , im prob barking up the wrong tree but it came to mind straight away - i posed a question on the 18/12/08 -'2.0 20v marea weekend alarm probs' it might be of some use to you till someone more knowledgable gives you a propper reply.

Does the red light flash on your key when you press the button? Does your other blue key turn the alarm off?

Hi,
both red lights on fobs and both will not turn the alarm off,If the alarm is turned back on by the emergency key the led dash light will remain on but will set off the alarm again by opening tail gate and rear doors or start the car but not the front doors or bonnet.
I was told you can reprogram the alarm system but know one seems to know?

Have you checked the fuse?

where is the fuse for the alarm to be found?

Drivers side fuse box see your owners manual for location.

Open up your owners manual, look at the fuse locations section. Locate the

Electronic Alarm
Electronic Alarm Blinker
Remote Control (for RH versions)
Remote Control Receiver

Check all these 4 fuses.

Not sure if the Bravo locations vary from the Mareas hence why i never included them.
