Again...
First a re-gas last year lasted only 2 days, due to a completely knackered compressor
Second, new compressor was fitted but gas now leaks away after about 2 months
Third, £300 spent and wasted with main fiat dealer for parts and service, but still gas leaks away after 2 months
Fourth, a return trip to the dealer and another leak test they tell me the accumulator is the culprit, but is very expensive.

Would anyone like to tell me where I can get a price on an accumulator and where I could get one fitted independantly of a useless Fiat dealer who has already ripped me off for £300.

scrapyard for part, diy for fitting, should cost about the price of a quarter of a tank of fuel and take a couple of hours to fit, but then regassing is best done at a garage. alternatively an A/C service which includes a new accumulator/dryer with the regas is on average £150. i'd recommend getting a new accumulator/dryer to avoid the silica from contaminating the A/C, think of it as a major service for the A/C whereas a regas alone is like an interim service. regas twice then change accumulator/dryer on every 3rd regas. i lived in dubai where a working A/C was part of the MOT, oddly enough an emissions check was not, its a mad world

hang on a minute, fiat told you the accumulator was leaking? thats not possible, well ok it is possible if someone has drilled a hole or you had a crash or its so old that it has cracked and rusted away, but generally they dont leak, ever. the leak will be a pipe 99% of the time. i'd go to an independant garage for an A/C checkup before you go spending any money.
