Technical marea aiir con

thought i would try the air con yesterday as it was hot while out working
turned it on and well nothing you could hear the fan turning slowly but normally you would here/feel the engine increase revs .. does anyone know if there is a quick test to see if all is well or does it sound like the AIR COMPRESSOR has gone cheers in advance p.s i have a parts cd and the price for an AIR COMPRESSOR is £500 lol

There could be a failed pipe. Best to have a local specialist check it out as only they usually have the ability to re-gas the system.

hi there if it comes to it, i have a fiat marea complete air con unit which I removed from my fiat marea weekend, it will need re-gasing, I will be listing it on ebay this week if your interested it will be cheap as I need to recover some of the cost of the fiat , i won't be asking anywhere near £500 for the whole lot let alone the compressor, which I have by the way, ready to post. ebay Id is Lois-laine,
