Technical marea 4th gear missing?

Hello all, my marea 1.8 has devloped a problem, it is jumping out of 4th gear, am i looking at a recon box or is there a way to check/reset the gear linkage?? 1st 2nd 3rd and reverse ok, any help please. thank dave

Can't say 100% for the Marea but on other cars if it is jumping out of gear you have a gearbox issue, sorry

Mines did that with 3rd. Was a new gearbox I'm afraid. Synchro was fecked.
