General Marea 199 1.6L ?

I plan on buying a used 1997 Marea. Very clean outside and in. But there seems to be a lot of rust on the suspension parts (ie wishbone, rotors). Is this normal?
Oh, what size rims does this take so maybe I can pimp it a little ;-)

You can fit 18" at a push.

205 or 215/40/17 no problem.

Not aware of any rust problems on the Bravo/Marea range.
