My 97 Marea is overheating This first happened 4 weeks ago all i doid to the car was let it cool down top up the water/antifreze and ran it with the cap off for a few days all ok
yesterday the fault returned no hot air coming from the vents temp guage showing 3/4 water inexpansion tank hot and pressurised
Any ideas would be appreciated

Yes there are 2 screws there is one on the top left of the rad and one onthe heater pipe if you follow the heater pipe from the thermostat housing to where it enters the heater on the firewall, you will see a black plastic thumb screw where you will need to bleed as well. i will try get a picfor you but im not promising i will find one.

I managed to find a picture, on this picture it is a bolt (has been replaced the factory ones are plastic with a slit in them so you can use a flat head screwdriver) but the picture is just to give you an idead of where the bleed screw is (the screw in the red box)
