Does anyone know the parts number for a 1994 Uno 1.1 ieS engine manifold. Fiat quoted me £102 for the part [xx(] that's almost as much as the car is worth.

A crack has developed in mine and it's blowing out enhaust fumes into the engine bay. Apart from sounding like a tractor the smell in the car is unbearable.

I have no idea how this happened. This is cast iron. Has anyone heard of this before?

I'd try and get one from a scrapped car, if possible.
Or find a tame blacksmith/welder. :)

I can't remember the engine mounting arrangement on the Uno, but have you lost a mounting bracket or rubber?
A recipe for cracked exhaust bits is lack of stabiliser/mounting causing the engine to rock too much when accelerating or decellerating: the exhaust limits the travel instead, but is damaged in the process:(

Hello Steve.
Send me the VIN of your car and I will confirm the part number and price of the manifold for you. If you do not wish to make the number public, send it to me on <[email protected]>

Agree that you should check the breakers first but it will help you to have the part number because it is printed on the manifold and will ensure that you get the right one.
Rgds, Pete.

Hi Pete. Long time no hear. :)

Thanks both of you for the replies. I am trying to source one from a scrapyard, but there are surprisingly few 1.1 Unos in local yards. I'll email you the VIN later tonight Pete. Much appreciated.

I'd considered engine movement but ruled it out. Everything looks solid.

Thanks.
