I used to drive much more powerful Alfas and there was a noticeable increase in those engines by swapping put the standard air filter with a K&N panel filter. Just put of interest I wondered what would happen if I put one in my CLX. Now I don't know if anyone has used one in their fuel injected Panda on here yet, but I'm pleased to report that it does seem to male a difference.

Seems to improve the low end a bit and drives a little bit more "torquey", definitely accelerates faster. No real difference in the top end of the revs but I can't talk for speeds over 70. However, it has no problem getting there :)

Seems also to be a very slightly more pleasing induction noise too, but it's very subtle.

Just wondering if anyone has experience of doing this mod on a Panda and what their experiences were?

Also have any of you guys went for free-flowing exhaust/manifold modifications and what have your experiences been? I noticed that there are CSC branded sports exhausts on eBay.it and there is always the option to have a custom stainless system produced locally but obviously the expense is quite a lot. But in terms of bang for your buck, would it be a worthwhile investment? And would a custom system produced for the current engine fit after a 1242cc engine swap? which is something I might entertain in the future.

I'm going to need a replacement manifold soon enough, so IR's worth looking into I think.
